Calling all audiophiles, foodies, music lovers, and history nerds: Factory & studio tours are running!

Citizen Vinyl is a communal space housing a record press facility, cafe, bar, recording studio, and analog art & record store – located in the historic Citizen-Times newspaper building in downtown Asheville - an incredible specimen of the Art Moderne style whose grand civic space serves to celebrate the history of manufacturing & craft alongside the current state of music, food & beverage within our local community.

TOUR TIMES:

Monday, Friday, and Saturday, 12:00 and 1:15 p.m.

Sunday, 12:30 and 1:45p.m.

Children 10 & Younger must be accompanied by a paying adult. Ages will be verified upon arrival.

We do not charge any additional fees or surcharges for online tickets. Online ticket sales close 30 minutes prior to the selected arrival time; last minute tickets may be available at the door but not listed online.

All visitors, regardless of age, require a ticket. Walk-up spots are available for most public tours, but reservations are strongly recommended -- first come first served!

TOUR DETAILS:

Tours require a minimum of 3 guests. Guests will be notified via email 24 hours in advance if this minimum has not been met. Guests will have the opportunity to 1) be rescheduled to another tour date/time; 2) purchase an additional ticket(s) to meet the minimum; or 3) be refunded for your ticket purchase. At 9pm the night before the tour, any tour that has not met the minimum number of guests will be canceled and a refund will automatically be issued.

Gather at the Tours Desk just inside the main doors at the scheduled time. Tours will last approximately 60 minutes. Punctuality is appreciated. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour to secure parking, check-in, use the restrooms, or browse the record shop!

Tours start right on time. Late-comers may join in at any point before the group heads up to the recording studio, about 15 minutes in.

Our tour guides are some of the best in the business and are enthusiastic about Asheville's rich music and architectural history. Join us for a rare look into the record-pressing process and see how some of your favorite albums are made!

All tour guests receive a 10% discount on CV merchandise and non-alcoholic drinks after the tour concludes.

FOR YOUR AWARENESS:

✨ Regarding PARKING: Please allow ample time to find parking around the downtown area prior to your tour. All street parking is metered. We suggest the nearby Wall Street Parking Garage at the corner of Otis Street and Battery Park Avenue.
