Join us at the African American Cultural Center of Long Beach (AACCLB) for a vibrant and meaningful Kwanzaa celebration on December 30! This special event is an opportunity for the community to come together to honor African American heritage, reflect on the seven principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba), and embrace unity, culture, and purpose.
What to Expect:
• Cultural Performances: Experience live music, cultural presentations, and dance inspired by African traditions.
• Candle-Lighting Ceremony: Participate in the symbolic lighting of the Kinara, representing the principles of Kwanzaa.
• Libation and Children's corner.
• Community Fellowship: Connect with neighbors, friends, and community members in celebration of our shared values.
• Karamu Feast: Enjoy a delicious meal inspired by the season.
This event is open to all! Whether you’re new to Kwanzaa or have celebrated for years, we welcome you to share in this joyous occasion.
Tickets: Admission is a $15 donation (includes a meal - free tickets do not), but space is limited. Please RSVP to reserve your spot. Pre-sale tickets end for this event on December, 29 at midnight.
