CAS Formal Spring 2017

Boston University CAS Student Government advocates for and represents the interests of the student body. We seek to foster relationships within the CAS and Boston University communities by connecting students to resources in order to improve the quality of student life. As the largest school at BU, it makes our job as student leaders fun and diverse. Our main duties include: programming events tailored to the CAS students, advocating for student affairs issues that CAS students raise, improving transparency between the government, administration, and students, as well as providing resources for students to use and take part in.

We have worked on issues ranging from Credit/No Credit to free menstrual products in all campus buildings. Once a month we hold General Assembly (GA) meetings to talk about issues students face on campus as well as discuss events and upcoming initiatives! We manage the single largest budget on campus and allocate money to various student groups on campus as a way to support their initiative to give back to the student community. We are always looking for new ideas and more involvement in CAS Stu Gov, so if you are interested feel free to join, contact any of our eBoard members, or stop by at one of our many meetings/events!
