Who doesn't love a carnivorous plant? They're beautiful and creepy because they eat bugs! Carnivorous plants are also a great way to help control fungus gnats in your home.
During our Carnivorous Plant Workshop, we will go through the proper care of these beasts of the plant world and the best environment for them. Then we will build our very own bog terrariums with a Venus Flytrap or a Pitcher Plant. You choose when you purchase your ticket.
We will be sure to provide you with plenty of care information as you build your very own bog terrarium.
This workshop includes:
- Instruction and guidance in creating your terrarium.
- One (1) Venus Flytrap plant or another variety depending on availability.
- All materials you need to build a bog habitat.

All participants will take the terrariums they build home.
Don't worry about not knowing what to do. We will teach you everything you need to know!
The location of this workshop is 1101 E Whitaker Mill Road Suite 122 Raleigh NC 27604. Please arrive prior to or at the start time listed. Parking can be found in the parking garage at the Forge entrance, there is a gravel parking lot, as well as parking off of Whitaker Mill Road. Any participants that show up later than 10 minutes past the start time will not be caught up.
