Welcome to the CALL FOR PRESENTERS for the How-To Festival 2025 (H2F) happening on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the San Diego Public Library - Pacific Highlands Ranch Branch! Do you have a skill or knowledge you'd like to share with others? Apply by March 29, 2025 to be a presenter at this exciting event. Whether you're a DIY expert, a cooking whiz, a tech guru, or an art enthusiast, we want to hear from you! Join us for a festival of learning, sharing, and fun. You have three options:

You can apply to present in-person at Pacific Highlands Ranch Library on Saturday, May 10 between 10:30am-12:30pm.
OR, you can apply to record a short video tutorial to be included in our virtual how-to video collection.
OR, you can apply to do both.

Frequently asked questions

Who can be a presenter?

Anyone! All you need to do is be willing to demonstrate how to do something in a fun and entertaining way.

Do I have to present in person?

No! You can present in person or you can create a how-to video.

How long are the presentations?

How old do you have to be to present?

Any person of any age can be a presenter. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

Who can attend the festival?

The How-To Festival is for all ages! All programs are family friendly, with some skewing older or younger, and some requiring more skills or using tools that should be handled by adults.
