Before choosing to engage with this exhibition, know that it includes references to and imagery related to menstruation, fertility, pregnancy loss, abortion, birth, and sexuality. Some of the art on view engages with the history of the gynecological profession and experiences of racial violence.

Is parental or guardian permission required for youth to attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a permission slip is required for each youth that is attending. As sensitive topics may be discussed, and youth will go home with resources having a permission slip with a contact on file is a necessity.

Can youth attend more than one session?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if a young adult enjoys a session they can come back to learn about other pieces and to expand on coping skills and activities. The center is open and free to the community.

Is the Loeb open to the community?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Loeb is open to the community and a safe place that we would love you to visit. The Loeb is always free and open to the community.

Will food be served?

Yes! Snacks will be available. These will be free.
