The Seattle Association of Black Journalists presents an informative afternoon to prepare for you for the November election, focusing on the local and national issues that matter most to African Americans living in Washington state. The event includes visits from the top candidates for Governor and Attorney General and a panel discussion featuring political consultant and media personality Crystal Fincher and Rainier Beach Action Coalition strategist Gregory Davis.

Founded in 1988, the Seattle Association of Black Journalists is an affiliate chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a group of more than 3,000 Black professionals working in the media.

We are one of the largest and oldest media groups in the Northwest. Our members work in public relations, radio, television, advertising, online and print journalism. They are editors, reporters, television anchors, executives, artists, video, still photographers and students.
