Hosted by Ladies P.A.T.H.E. (Ladies Praying Always Trusting Him Endlessly), Beauty from Ashes is a free women’s gathering designed to be a sacred and safe space for women navigating healing from childhood trauma, rejection, abuse, or emotional wounds.
In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, our guest speaker Genevive Amponsem will share a powerful message that weaves together her personal testimony of healing from past wounds with Scripture-based teaching.
This event is designed to point women to the true and lasting restoration found only in Jesus Christ. In a world that often encourages us to search for healing through self-help, therapy, or medication alone, we want to proclaim clearly: real healing—deep, eternal, soul-level healing—is found in Christ, and Christ alone. This gathering isn’t about spotlighting a person or a process, but about encountering the One who heals hearts, restores stories, and redeems what was broken.
This gathering is for any woman who has:
• Experienced trauma, emotional neglect, or sexual abuse
• Struggled to believe healing is possible
• Felt unseen, unworthy, or ashamed because of her past
• Longed for a supportive, Christ-centered space to heal and grow
You are welcome here. You are not alone. And you don’t have to carry it all by yourself anymore.
What to Expect:
• A safe, supportive atmosphere
• Testimony and teaching by guest speaker Genny
• Intentional discussion and opportunities to share
• Scripture guided prayer
• Warm, heartfelt fellowship and light refreshments
Who Should Attend:
This event is open to all women, no matter your background or where you are in your healing journey. Whether you’ve experienced similar pain or simply want to be present for others, Beauty from Ashes was created with you in mind.

Dress Code:
There’s no dress code—please come in whatever makes you feel most comfortable, safe, and at ease. This space is about your heart, not your outfit.

The event is at GMU Arlington Campus, Room 318 :)
Also parking is paid, so carpooling is encouraged!
