Spend the day with us to connect with experts, discover local services and resources, explore must-have gear, and build your village before baby arrives (or while you’re in the thick of early parenthood!). We have a full lineup of pitch-free, expert-led classes and demos, baby gear test drives with Jamie Grayson, CPST, hands-on activities, and plenty of opportunities for connection. There are some amazing perks, too! From loaded VIP gift bags and prizes from our charity raffle, to $10K+ in baby gear giveaways.

We believe that information + connections = empowerment! So, every aspect of our events is designed to connect you to valuable resources before you need them and to facilitate real conversations about all the things you may not even know you need to know about pregnancy, birth, and life with a baby.

Babies & Bumps is open to ALL moms, dads, parents-to-be, adoptive parents, people TTC, caregivers… anyone with a baby in their life or one on the way! Join us to get answers to your questions, gain confidence in your decisions, and resolve your fears.

On event day, you’ll find all of the following (and more!) under one roof:

• 30+ exhibitors & vendors – we hand-pick every event partner to ensure you’re connecting with trusted, well-reviewed businesses and professionals who truly serve new and soon-to-be parents. Whether you’re looking toget connected to local support, shop, or learn something new, you’ll find it here.
• Jamie Grayson + keynote – visit with baby gear expert and Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), Jamie Grayson on the exhibitor floor between 11 AM and 2:15 PM to ask questions and get hands-on demonstrations of a range of baby gear. Then, join Jamie for his keynote – a 60-minute session from 3 to 4 PM, where he’ll walk you through how to choose the right gear for your family and lifestyle, and cover product safety basics. He'll also highlight the car seats, strollers, carriers, and high chairs from his booth... and then give them all away!
• 9 classes – we partner with local experts to teach classes on a wide range of topics related to pregnancy and parenting, like writing a birth plan, the fourth trimester and postpartum recovery, and baby’s first foods. These are all pitch-free, so you won't feel like you're sitting through a commercial!
• 7 demonstrations – these interactive sessions are designed to teach a skill that you can take home and put into practice, like infant CPR, babywearing, pelvic floor stretches, and comfort measures in labor... think show-and-tell for grown-ups!
• Amenities & convenience – the Westin Chicago Lombard has free and plentiful surface parking that's easy to access. We have a feeding lounge for peace, quiet, nursing, and pumping. Food and beverages are also available for purchase at the hotel, there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite nearby, and Midwest Express Clinic is providing fruit and yogurt parfaits in our snack break!
• Opportunity to give back – attendees have a chance to win dozens of prizes generously donated by brands and local businesses. 100% of proceeds from raffle ticket sales will be donated to the Mothers' Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes!
