About Alan Cross

Alan Cross is an internationally known broadcaster, writer, consultant, blogger, and speaker, with over 40 years of experience in the broadcasting and music industry. He’s interviewed some of the biggest names in rock and has built a reputation as a musicologist and documentarian through his popular radio program The Ongoing History of New Music.

In addition to his work on air, Alan is a prolific writer with five books to his name and hundreds of public speaking engagements under his belt. He’s also known for his national music column for Global News and his work in voiceover, lending his expertise to commercials, TV shows, movies, documentaries, and corporate videos.

One of his most celebrated projects is The Science of Rock’n’Roll, a traveling museum exhibit that toured science centers across North America.

Alan also hosts the popular true crime podcast Uncharted: Crime and Mayhem in the Music Industry and regularly attends music conferences, delivering lectures at schools and events all over the world.

Currently, Alan is deeply involved in exploring the intersection of music, technology, and social networking, offering a unique perspective on the future of the music industry.
