ADAPT: Arts Development And Performance Theatre
“Teaching Our Youth How To Adapt From Any Environment To Be Amazing.”
This fast-paced camp takes students who have an interest and love for Arts Development & Performance Theatre (ADAPT) through daily fun and engaging courses as we prepare for a fully produced LIVE Show for friends, family and the community.
Working with professional actors, specified field directors, and choreographers, campers learn a range of career building and life skills as we emphasize on creative thinking, self-confidence and building each other up!
A typical day consists of students rotating between classes that teach life-long performance skills. At the end of the session the entire camp gathers together to show off their freshly acquired skills, giving students time to relish in their new mastery of improvisation, the latest dance step, a scene they have just written, or the character they have created.
In addition to individual group sessions where campers hone their craft learning ADAPT knowledge, techniques, vocabulary and professional skills — campers also come together to engage with one another as we interact as a whole during ADAPT focused games and Icebreakers, indoor and outdoor FREE time, and as we break bread during our daily continental breakfast and lunch time.
ADAPT Sessions Include:
- Theatre Training
- Singing/Vocal Training
- Dance (Hip Hop/Interpretive Style)
- Poetry/Spoken Word
- Film Production & Media
- And more!
