Join us at Apollo/<a href="https://apollocode.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">apollocode.org</a>: a free, 9-hour STEM event.<ul><li>Completely free event</li><li>Lunch and snacks will be provided</li><li>A number of workshops, both hardware and software-based</li><li>Mini-activities throughout the day from a planetarium and a PC building events, to extracting DNA</li><li>At the main competition, you&#x27;ll be developing a solution to a real-world problem. Prizes include smartwatches, drones, and more!</li><li>Excused absence possible!</li></ul>Apollo is an inclusive STEM event at which students from around the tri-valley will come to learn and showcase their talent. At Apollo, we&#x27;ll have workshops, demos, mentors to help you learn. During the event, you&#x27;ll be placed in a group of your peers with whom you&#x27;ll present a technological solution to a real-world problem, announced on event-day. Based how you solved the problem, we&#x27;ll award prizes to the best ideas.Here at Apollo, we want to create a passionate, diverse next-generation of tech. We believe that by learning, sharing, and collaborating, everyone make a difference in the world.We hope Apollo will inspire you as to how technology can change our world.
