DescriptionStartups, software developers and students are invited to participate in the VisionAR Hackathon.Showcase your business and analytics skills by solving a real-world problem for an organization over one day hackathon. This is a great opportunity to highlight your strengths in front of corporate contacts, as you work to solve issues facing businesses today in the most disruptive technology: augmented reality in smart glasses.Agenda - Saturday April 18th:09:00 Accreditation09:15 Welcome session:• Presentation of the organizers (LaSalle / EyeTechLab)• Reason why the hackathon was created• Important points to consider (rules during the day)• Validation of system requirements and programming environments• Accreditation and access to Database of available resources web page programmers• Possibility of giving feedback and sharing the experience in social networks (specific hashtag)• Team building and individual presentation of the different groups (especially for groups made up of people who didn't know each other before)• Depending on teams enrolled about 7 or 8 groups of 4 or 5 people per team. (50 maximum)Work session:10:00 Teamwork (rest of the day)12:00 Coffee Break14:00 Pizza and beers17:00 Completion of development workEvent Closure:17:15 Presentation of the solutions proposed by each team (5 minutes elevator pitch)18:45 Voting / feedback from the jury18:00 Awards ceremonyAboutThe Hackathon is part of Open Day of La Salle Campus Barcelona Ramon Llull University, in Sant Joan de La Salle Street, 42 08022 Barcelona. It is a one day long hackathon competition that gives startups, software developers and students an opportunity to showcase their skills and to network. Teams of two to five people will work around the clock to deliver business solutions for a real-world problem using smart glasses. The goal is to deliver a demo app putting their innovative thinking and collective blend of business and technical skills to work using problem solving in the following use cases: 1.- Remote Support: Technical assistance for field technicians from remote experts	2.- Manufacturing: Step by step procedures, checklist and work instructions for training, quality assurance, maintenance and compliance 3.- Picking: Optimize logistics and warehouse picking operations and reduce order mistakesWinners will be announced on April 18, followed by a networking mixer at the end of eventRSVP by April 12th to ensure your spot in the Hackathon. Limited to 50 participants
