Dare to Hack the Legal Way#GLH2020 | RomaniaRomania is for the 3rd time a main pillar of the biggest legal tech and innovation event in the world and the 2019 Global Winner at New York Gala.A hackathon is an event of several days, during which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming. They work in teams and usually are IT, business and product marketing professionals.GLH is the world’s largest legal hackathon. Bringing the legal industry together with tech and innovation, worldwide, with one purpose: the fast development of solutions to improve the legal industry worldwide.Over the span of one weekend, ideas are formed and technology solutions are created to solve business of law and access to justice issues. Here, winning teams move on to future rounds, where they can present their solution to an international judging panel.Hackathons are a relevant social tool because they give creative people and industry leaders the context to innovate. Digital transformation is not going to happen by itself, especially in the legal industry, where the modus operandi has been established long ago.Most of our daily work routines are hardly the context to innovate. Not just because of the tasks, but because one agent of the private sector alone will never be responsible for the improvement of an entire industry.This is why hackathons are about the people behind the work. Behind the legal services, the technological advancements and the creative ways to make good ideas better.
