JMU X-Labs

Bluestone InnovationX is where you turn your crazy ideas into the real stuff. Students of all majors: English, SMAD, Nursing, Engineering, Art, Business, Health Sciences, History, Design, Computer Science, Economics, Etc. gather and build something they’re passionate about. Come, dive in, and make incredible things happen alongside fellow creators. There will also be mentors, company recruiters from sponsors and free food! You take care of the design. We’ll take care of you. InnovationX has monetary prizes, hardware prizes, swag, and free food! Registration is free and the judging and closing ceremony is open to the public for friends and family to come see your innovations. All students are encouraged to participate. We believe everyone has the ability to be innovative.
