Innovation Sprint

This 24 hour innovation sprint is a chance for you to collaborate with a group of people for a chance to win a $3000 cash prize! Teams have a whole day to innovate, create, and present an idea to the judges for a chance to win $3000. The event will be fully catered and sponsored by some of Gainesville's top businesses! Additionally, many of these businesses will be at the event scouting out new recruits! Do NOT miss this event!

Your chance to win $3,000, network with community leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs, and bring an innovative product to life.

This 24 hour hackathon/design sprint style competition is an opportunity to get yourself out of your comfort zone and compete, using your unique skills to the test. It will allow you to gain experience and collaborate with like-minded individuals in a much more involved setting. This is not an event you want to miss!

What will you be doing?

This event is meant to provide experiential learning to both non-technical and technical students. Saturday will start off with people pitching their ideas (all ideas are welcomed). Participants will vote on the ideas they like the most and everyone will join their preferred group. Their group will then bring the innovation to life (or as close to it as possible) throughout the entirety of the event. The event will end with a pitch competition presenting to judges who are incredible community and industry leaders in Gainesville.

Remember:

-This is not for any particular major, expertise, or individual. ALL majors and skills can contribute and add value to any team.

-You do not need to have an idea or pre-formed team.
