(free!!)<a href="https://www.vizforsocialgood.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Viz for Social Good </a>helps mission-driven organisations to promote social good and understand their own data through beautiful and informative data visualisation.Who can participate?<ul><li>We need story-tellers, graphic designers and analytically-oriented people.</li><li>This is a great opportunity to share your passion, learn new tools (Tableau, PowerBi..), network and gain some fame. </li><li>We welcome beginners and experts alike.</li></ul>

Who is Sunny Street?<a href="https://sunnystreet.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sunny Street</a> is changing the world by providing heartfelt healthcare to our community’s most vulnerable people. We need to be able to clearly articulate our social impact to our stakeholders, collaborators and potential sponsors and funding sources. We know that our outreach clinics benefit the lives of our patients, volunteers and the broader community through our authentic conversation-based model of care. Agenda: <ul><li>5.30 PM: Meet and Greet</li><li>6.00 PM: Introduction from Frederic and Sunny Street</li><li>6.05 PM: Presentations start - 5 minutes each</li><li>7:00 PM: Comments from Sunny Street, closing address</li><li>7.15 PM: Networking</li></ul>

Datathon process<ul><li>Think outcomes - we are trying to solve the problems set by Sunny Street</li><li>Data available from the <a href="https://www.vizforsocialgood.com/join-a-project/2020/3/2/sunny-street" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Viz for Social Good website</a>, - check the data tab - you have three weeks to develop a visualisation and present it at the event (not compulsory)</li><li>Publish your visualisation online (e.g. Tableau Public, PowerBi...) and promote it on your social media channels using this tag #VizforSocialGood</li><li>Submit your work using with <a href="https://forms.gle/vjAp4VRqAgvuhHFw6" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Google Form</a> so we can track the submissions </li><li>Present your work on March 19 in front of the group and Sunny Street for feedback - 5 minutes</li><li>Non Brisbane based people can also participate. We might ask you to video record your presentation to show your analysis at the live event.</li></ul>

Tools<ul><li>Bring you own laptop and data tool (Tableau, PowerBi, Excel, and others) – Uni students can get free Tableau licences</li><li>It is not a Tableau or PowerBi event, all tools welcome </li><li>The 5 minutes presentation should not be too formal but focus on the story and outcomes for Sunny Street</li><li>If you can't make the live event, you can submit a 5 minutes video recording </li><li>Bring a friend or two!</li></ul>
