Description

The Second Annual Graduate and Postdoctoral Research Symposium will take place on March 5, 2020, at the Shalala Student Center to showcase the transformative scholarly research conducted by graduate and postdoctoral fellows at the University. This half-day symposium will feature research from over 60 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows on a variety of topics across disciplines. The event will feature a keynote address from Miller School of Medicine alumnus, Dr. Hansel Tookes, founder of Florida's first syringe access program, the IDEA Exchange.

The symposium will also include poster and oral presentations, and TED-like talks. The symposium will finish with a catered reception and awards ceremony. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top poster and oral presentations. Students, faculty, and staff from all campuses are invited to attend the symposium, celebrating creativity, innovation, and scientific discovery across all disciplines.

Please note that a valid Coral Gables parking permit is required to park on the Coral Gables Campus. If you do not have a valid Coral Gables parking permit, click here to register for a temporary digital parking permit. The parking reservation will be for March 5, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Pavia Garage (pink zone).
