Come join the UofSC Net Impact chapter for our annual Sustainability Symposium! The Sustainability Symposium is designed to enlighten the UofSC community on the progress being made towards sustainable innovates on both the private and public levels. Come join us for an enriching evening on the topic with some of the brightest and most passionate minds! Our speakers include:<ul><li>5:00-5:30 - Speaker 1 – Jim Poch, Electric Transportation, Duke Energy</li><li>5:30-6:00 – Speaker 2 – Jim Hambright, Director, Fluor</li><li>6:00-6:45 – Dinner, Networking, and Data Hackathon winner presentation</li><li>6:45-7:45 – Panel Session w/ Q&amp;A - Panelists: Jim Poch, Jim Harbright, Anna DeLage (SC Dept of Commerce, Recycling Market Development Team), Chris Cassell (Sustainability Director, Lowe’s Home Improvement), Sarah Simmons (CEO, City Grit Hospitality).</li></ul>A 100% waste-free buffet dinner will be served.The event is Green Certified by the University of South Carolina. Looking to be even more sustainable and efficient getting to and from the event? Consider taking one of the shuttles offered by the university or Columbia&#x27;s Comet system.
