 hack Cupertino 2020 - POSTPONED

The Teen Commission consists of a group of nine Cupertino residents who are currently in 8th-12th grades and are selected by the Cupertino City Council. The powers and functions of the Teen Commission are to advise the City Council and City staff on issues or projects important to local youth.

<P CLASS="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle"><SPAN> Cupertino is a 13-hour overnight high-school hackathon organized by the Cupertino Teen Commission and Cupertino's Recreation Department. During our opening ceremony, we will present a problem in which teams or individuals will work together to create an app, software, or website which will address the topic.</SPAN></P>
<P CLASS="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle"><SPAN>Please note that this even this is a lock-in, if you leave the premises at any point in the evening you will not be allowed back in.</SPAN></P>
<H3 CLASS="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle"><SPAN>What makes this hackathon unique (besides prizes, of course!)?</SPAN></H3>
<P CLASS="MsoNormalCxSpMiddle"><SPAN>Winning teams will have the opportunity to present their projects to the Cupertino City Council during a live, televised meeting for maximum exposure of their success.  Teams will also receive a formal commendation from the Cupertino City Council.</SPAN></P>
