Der Hackathon* des MEDIA LIFT Inkubators von nextMedia.Hamburg findet vom 21. bis 22. Februar 2020 im <a href="https://www.designxport.de" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">designxport</a> (Hongkongstraße 8 - 20457 Hamburg) statt.Worum geht’s?Wir suchen Medienbegeisterte, Kreative, Programmierer*innen Innovator*innen und vor allem Neugierige, die sich und ihre Idee ausprobieren wollen und Spaß daran haben, diese im Team voran zu treiben. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf dem smarten, vernetzten Medienstandort Hamburg. Wie können beispielsweise Technologien wie 5G für die smarte Medienstadt genutzt werden? Mit der Google News Initiative (GNI) haben wir genau den passenden Partner an Bord, um diese Ideen auszuloten und auszutesten. Wer wir sind?Wir fördern eure innovativen Geschäftsideen aus den Bereichen Content und Tech. Ob Studierende, Gründungswillige oder Angestellte großer Medien- und Digitalunternehmen, ob individuelle Ideengeber*innen oder eingespieltes Team – wir heben eure Idee auf das nächste Level in unserem MEDIA LIFT Inkubator. Bitte beachten: Jeder muss sich individuell anmelden.*Hackathon: FAQWas ist ein Hackathon?Ihr wart noch nie bei einem solchen Event? Hier erfahrt ihr, was euch erwartet:Auf einem Hackathon arbeiten Programmierer*innen, Designer*innen, Entrepreneur*innen, Marketers und kreative Köpfe über mehrere Tage gemeinsam an einer Idee zu einem bestimmten Thema. Ein Geschäftsmodell und ein erster Prototyp werden in kleinen Teams entwickelt und anschließend einer Jury vorgestellt. Es geht um Leidenschaft fürs Hacken und neue Produkte, um die Lust auf Ergebnisse, neue Kontakte und sehr viel Spaß.Woher kommen die Ideen?Zu Beginn der Veranstaltung können die Teilnehmer*innen ihre Idee kurz vorstellen. Wenn ihr also jetzt schon eine spannende Idee habt, könnt ihr diese dort pitchen. Aber auch wenn euch während der Ideen-Pitches spontan eine Idee kommt: Immer her damit! Nach den Ideen-Pitches können die Teilnehmer*innen entscheiden, an welcher Idee sie gerne arbeiten möchten. Anschließend werden Teams gebildet.Was kostet mich das?Unser Hackathon ist kostenlos für die Teilnehmer*innen.Was muss ich mitbringen?Ein Notebook, im besten Fall eine Idee und Motivation. Den Rest bekommt ihr von uns. Ihr werdet über die Dauer des Hackathons mit Essen und Getränken versorgt. Auch Bier und Mate werden kaltgestellt sein, um das Gehirn zu späterer Stunde zu pushen und für die nötige Prise Extra-Motivation zu sorgen. Don’t worry - we got you covered. At a hackathon programmers, designers, entrepreneurs, marketers as well as creative minds gather, form teams and spend a couple of days working on an topic centered idea intensively. Small teams develop a business model and a first prototype during the work sessions. It is all about passion for hacking, new products, results and new contacts. But most of all: You are in it for the fun! Where do the ideas come from? In the beginning of the event every participant is allowed to present their idea. In case, you got an interesting idea already, you are free to present it. If you are having an idea during the pitching process - also very good. We take spontaneous entries as well. What does it cost?The hackathon is for free. What do I need to bring?All you need is a notebook, an idea and a ton of motivation. Everything else you will be receiving from our end. There will be sufficient food and beverages for you during all Hack Days. In terms of late-night-working-motivation: We do have beer and mate in store! Accomodation?Unfortunately we cannot grant you access to the location during the night, so it is not possible to spend the night. Yet still there are many affordable hostels close by.
