Hacking Pediatrics 

This event is organized by Innovation Lab, LLC.  Innovation Lab, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Innovation Institute, LLC.  The Innovation Institute currently has six major health systems as equity investors or “Member Owners.” Innovation Lab is a healthcare incubator that provides services to the Institute’s Member Owners. These services span the entire landscape of product and service innovation, from translating unmet needs into products in market to helping hospital systems foster a culture of innovation. The Lab manages partnerships with its Member Owners and alliances with organizations including the Cleveland Clinic, Boston Scientific, Dell, and Deloitte. The Lab team collaborates with 200,000 medical professionals affiliated across the six Member Owners to develop, commercialize, and bring new products and solutions to the market at scale. Innovation Lab and its partners comprise a powerful ecosystem to activate innovators and improve people’s lives in our communities and around the globe. Our current Member Owner health systems include Bon Secours Mercy Health, Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, Avera health, MultiCare Health System, Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and Valley Children’s Healthcare.

Are you interested in transforming pediatrics via technology? Join us as we bring together pediatric caregivers, data scientists, business leaders, computer science students,entrepreneurs and industry leader for a weekend of collaboration where you can join a team, create a prototype and pitch a solution!   
Prizes! Winning teams will move forward into the Innovation Lab's incubation process - valued at up to $100K! In addition, the 1st place team will win $1000, the 2nd place team will win $750 and the 3rd place team will win $500. 
Friday, February 7:
5:00 pm – 6:15 pm: Registration & Welcome
6:15 pm — 7:00 pm: Hackathon Kickoff
7:00 pm — 11:00 pm: Idea Pitching + Team Formation
Saturday, February 8: All Day 
8:00 am – 11:00 pm: Hack, Hack, Hack!
Sunday, February 9:
7:00 am – 12:00 pm: Teams finalize prototypes, pitches and presentations. Mentors help teams prepare.
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Teams pitch and demo prototypes to Hacking Pediatrics judges. Judges provide feedback to teams.
