After successful Hackathons in Chennai & Trichy, iLink brings IoT Hackathon to Pune in collaboration with Thinking Hut & MIT- WPU.

Who can participate?Anyone with a passion for coding can participate. It’s open for college students, college dropouts, frustrated employees, happily unemployed, freelancers and those who can do wonders with zeroes and ones.Rules:- Bring your own laptops.- You can participate as an individual or in a team of maximum 4 members.- You can invite your friends or colleagues to form a team (need not be from the same college/organization).- Problem statements will be given 2 days before the Hackathon.- You may use any technology, framework or platform to complete the hack.- Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration.- The entire idea need not be fully implemented. However the submission should be functional so that it can be demonstrated and reviewed by the judges.- You get 5 minutes for demo and presentation. It is recommended to keep the pitch short and leave 2-3 minutes for the judges to ask questions to get a better understanding of your hack.Hackathon Schedule:December 21st, Saturday:10.00 AM: Introduction, Discussion of IoT Hackathon ideas.11.00 AM: Coding begins01.00 PM – 02.00 PM: Lunch02.00 PM – 05.00 PM: Coffee and CodingDecember 22nd, Sunday:10.00 AM: Coding begins01.00 PM – 02.00 PM: Lunch02.00 PM – 03.00 PM: Coding. Demo Preparation03.00 PM – 05.00 PM: Demos and AwardsClosure:- You’ll hook your own laptop on to the beamer (either VGA or HDMI)- If you want to use audio in your pitch, let us know on time!- You get 5 minutes’ stage time. It’s up to you if you use the full length for your pitch or demo, or rather keep the pitch. short and open up 2 or 3 minutes for the judges to ask questions and get a better understanding of your hack.- It’s up to you if you want to show a demo, a presentation or something crazy. Remember that live demos are really cool but comes with a risk (free tip: Record a screen-cap of your demo as a back-up)
