You are free to choose any platform for the development of the solution.Participant solutions could fit into any of these categories: Web App, Mobile App, Design Prototype etc‘Kaveri Hackathon – 1.0 ‘ encourages the participants to solve the problem creatively through technology and also let the participants address the fast-changing client demands by implementing inclusive, agile, multidisciplinary collaboration and shorter innovation cyclesDate: 20 and 21 December 2019Reporting Time: 20 December 8:30 am to 9:00 amRegistration Fees: Rs. 500/- per team (minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members)Prizes1st prize: Rs. 7000/- and certificate2nd prize: RS. 5000/- and certificate3rd Prize: Rs. 3000/- and certificateEligibility: Under-graduate and Post-graduate students with valid ID cardHow to ParticipateParticipants should apply as a team where all the team members should belong to the same college. Team can consists of minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members. Team must appoint and authorize one individual (the “Team Leader”) to represent, act and enter a submission, on their behalf. (Team members can belong to any year or stream , but should belong to same college)What you will get: Wired Internet connection to only one machine / electricity / working spaceWhat you should bring: College ID card, Laptop, Mobile devices, power cords, and any other tool required (USB mouse, keyboard, extension cord etc) and COMPETITIVE SPIRITEvaluation patternThe solution provided by the team will be judged by the panel of judges on various factors like Originality and creativity, Strategic and practical implementation, Code / analysis scalability and organization and Effective communication and summary of resultsRules to be followed<ul><li>All code must be written during the event. Participants cannot use existing code.</li><li>Participants cannot use any external APIs as a part of their core functionality. (using Google Maps API for an app that tracks a delivery is fine, but using Google Maps API to built a navigation app is not allowed).</li><li>The project must be developed in public repositories on GitHub and should have a valid Open Source License.</li><li>The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program</li><li>Travelling and lodging must be borne by the participants.</li><li>The entire code need not be fully implemented however; the submission should be functional so that it can be reviewed by the judges.</li></ul>For any queries contact:Mrs. Chitra Alavani (9850831601)Mrs. Pallavi Joshi (9764429560)
