Join us for the first ever <a href="https://planetscale.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">PlanetScale </a>Hackathon! We’ve been working on a database-as-a-service product based on <a href="https://vitess.io/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Vitess </a>and it’s almost ready for production. We would love to have you build applications against our new product, experiment with a variety of use cases, and try to find all the ways you can break it. Prizes will be given out based on the severity of the bug found in our DBaaS. First prize is $500, second prize is $200, and third prize is $100.Want to learn about or hack on Vitess itself? Do you think hanging out with a bunch of database engineers is a good time? Do you like greyhounds? You’re more than welcome to join! Lunch and Dinner will be provided.
