JHacks is a twenty-four hour long hackathon taking place on University of Maryland campus. This year, JHacks is focusing on education.

JHacks will take place in the new Iribe building at the University of Maryland campus. It runs from Saturday night to Sunday night on President’s Day Weekend, February 15th and 16th. All undergraduate students are welcome*. This year, JHacks is focusing on education! Join us as we explore the challenges and opportunities for technology in education. We can’t wait to see how you can Hack a Better Education.* Graduate students are invited to serve as mentors. Minors unfortunately cannot attend.FAQsDoes registration guarantee participation?Great question. Registration does NOT guarantee participation. Registration gives you priority to participate in JHacks ONLY if you check-in between 7:00 - 7:30pm on February 15, 2020.Beginning at 7:30, non-registered participants will be allowed to register at the door and then check-in. Only the first 150 people who check-in will be able to participate in the hackathon, regardless of registration.What can I bring into the event?Bring ideas, positivity and a computer to the hackathon. We will provide everything else.How can I contact the organizer with any questions?Please contact us with any questions through our email info@jhacksumd.com.Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?Nope! As long as you have your confirmation QR code, you are good to go.Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?Yes, you have to be 18 years or older and an undergraduate college student.
