As the need to support Hong Kongers living in the UK arises, Hong Kongers in Britain would like to build a community in the UK. Whether people are still considering moving to the UK, or already settled here, HKB would offer a platform for HongKongers to support each other, enabling them to rebuild their lives in the UK.Hongkongers in Britain is a registered organisation in the UK. We serve as:A MEDIUM BETWEEN HONGKONGERS AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES.A FORUM TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO CREATE CONNECTION.A PLATFORM TO INSPIRE ACTIVITIES CULTURALLY & ECONOMICALLYA BRITISH COMMUNITY FOR HONGKONGERS.Our team is formed by committed and experienced people sought to strengthen the Hong Kong tie within the UK and abroad. We will host events such as seminars, gatherings, and encourage Hong Kongers to volunteer and contribute to the society. We will use our resources to help Hongkongers to get accustomed to the British society. This cause and goal, will require your support to make it sustainable. 卡迪夫獨立電影《中轉站》放映會及映後與導演對談Independent film ‘The Entrepot’ Screening and Post-Screening Conversation with the Director in Cardiff近年紛亂嘅社會環境下，「再見」已經成日掛喺唔少香港人嘅嘴邊。香港呢個地方會唔會已經變成一個中轉站，定係其實佢一直都係？張凱傑導演嘅《中轉站》以三個主人翁 - 的士司機、教師及三個單車少年嘅視野，訴說 2021 年嘅香港。放映會後會有網上問答環節，各位可以把握機會同張凱傑導演對談。《中轉站》榮獲自由國際電影節最佳電影及最佳新導演奬，入圍洛杉磯亞洲電影獎最佳劇情片，並於 Lytham 國際電影節及多倫多亞洲國際電影節放映。機會難得，唔好錯過喇！Bidding farewell has become a part of Hongkongers’ lives given the social changes in the city over the past few years. Has this place become an entrepot? Or has it always been one as an international city? Jacky Cheung's “The Entrepot” explores the state of Hong Kong in 2021 by telling three stories – that of a taxi driver, a teacher and three teenagers on their bikes. After the screening, an online Q&A session with the director will follow.“The Entrepot” won the Best Feature and Best First Time Filmmaker in Liberty International Movie Festival. It was a nominee of Best Feature Film in Los Angeles Asian Film Awards 2022. It was also screened in Lytham International Film Festival and Toronto Asia International Film Festival.
