It’s that time of year again - the Tanda Hackathon is back for 2019!

Shine your blue light glasses and adjust your back support because for the fifth year in a row, Tanda is opening its doors for the annual Tanda Hackathon. We invite all those keen to pitch, hack, and showcase their best ideas for this year’s theme: The Connected Workplace. The way businesses operate is changing. Many now combining different software, data sources and IoT devices to create the platform for their business. We want to see how you can tie different pieces together to build a holistic Workforce Solution. Tickets are $10, per usual, all ticket proceeds will go back to IT and programming clubs at local universities. This year, you&#x27;ll be competing for two prizes:- The Tanda Hackathon Trophy for best validated and executed project- The Tanda Tech Award for best technical projectWhat to bring: Laptop &amp; Charger Food &amp; drink provided.Lastly, make sure to practice your &#x27;Blue Steel&#x27; because it wouldn’t be a Tanda Hackathon without a selfie competition! How does it work?Friday 25 October6:00pm - Registration, food, and beers. Arrive at Tanda HQ and get checked in.7:00pm - Welcome. We’ll brief you on what the next 24 hours holds, and introduce judges and mentors there to help out.7:30pm - Team forming. Pitch your idea, form into teams, and start building!Saturday 26 October8:30am - Breakfast is served. Fuel up for a big dayLunch - is on us! Get keen, get fed.6:00pm - Presentations and judging. Dinner, as usual, is on us.7:00pm - Awards and beers.9:00pm - Go home... or to a pub *cough* Johnny Ringo’s *cough* (across the road).See you there!
