Hacking Dermatology

Hacking Dermatology is an innovation initiative led by Hacking Medicine Institute, MIT Hacking Medicine, LEO Science & Tech Hub, and Advancing Innovation in Dermatology.The initiative aims to nurture a community of scientists, clinicians, patients, and advocates whose shared mission is to radically improve the dermatological patient journey and dream big about cures for chronic skin conditions. In 2019, the partnering organizations will organize an innovation summit of experts, a hackathon, and a post hackathon challenge for winning teams around the theme of precision medicine.

Apply now for the 2019 Hacking Dermatology 3-day hackathon in Boston, on September 13-15. Learn more: <a href="http://www.hackingdermatology.org/upcoming-events.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">hackingdermatology.org/upcoming-events.html</a>Applications for participants are now being accepted for Hacking Dermatology 2019, an innovation challenge that unites clinical and scientific experts, patients, engineers and innovators to reimagine the landscape of patient care. Winning teams will be awarded a total of $85,000 (USD) in grants and entered into an acceleration period to receive mentorship and access to resources to bring solutions to market.The hackathon will take place Sept 13-15, 2019, at District Hall in Boston. Participants will attend all three days of the hackathon, pitch ideas on Friday’s kickoff event, and join and actively contribute on a team that competes throughout the weekend. Kickoff is at 6pm on Friday, 9/13.
