Our events are focused on Capitol Hill, but all can participate

How old should my child be to ride their own bike?

Accepted Answer

We ask that all independent rides have 1-2 years of riding experience. So if you child learned to ride a pedal bike at 4, they should wait until they're 5-6 to ride independently on our rides.

Question 3

Do I need a helmet?

We ask that all participants in our rides wear a helmet.

Question 4

Can I ride a scooter?

Accepted Answer

We ask that everyone participating ride a bicycle or adult tricycle. No training wheels.

Question 5

How long are the rides?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the event. But expect the ride + event to be 1.5 to 2 hours with frequent stops.
