LOVE AND LAUGH is a Cantonese pop concert, and all songs will be performed in Cantonese. Projections and subtitles of the lyrics in Chinese (with English translation) will be available.

Will there be an intermission?

Accepted Answer

LOVE AND LAUGH is performed without intermission. You will not be recommended to leave the Play Den mid-performance as you will be re-admitted only at suitable points in the performance. You are recommended to visit the toilets (conveniently located outside the Play Den) before the event.

I do not understand or speak Cantonese. Will I still be able to follow the concert?

The live projections will feature English translations of the song lyrics, so non-Cantonese speakers will be able to sit through and understand the contents of the concert.

LOVE AND LAUGH has received a GENERAL rating from Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). However, audiences should note that there will be mild use of coarse language at selected segments of the show.

The Arts House does not offer public parking facilities, but paid parking is available at nearby carparks including the Parliament House, The Adelphi, National Gallery Singapore and The Fullerton Hotel.

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Arts House is a 5-mins, 8-mins and 10-mins walk from City Hall, Raffles Place and Clarke Quay MRT stations respectively. Convenient bus stops include Supreme Ct (02181) for buses 195, 961 and 961C, and Opp. The Treasury (04249) for buses 61, 63, 80, 124, 145, 166, 174, 197, 855 and 961.
