After a hiatus post pandemic, we’ll be opening the doors of Tanda Tower and - in collaboration with our friends at Hindsite and Visibuild, and supported by the AWS Startups Team - we are inviting all those keen to pitch, hack, and showcase their best ideas for this year’s theme: The Brisbane Workplace Innovation Hackathon. It’s a changing landscape for business on the other side of the pandemic. Inflation and rising costs are causing many to be very wary of expenditure, and look for more efficiencies. At the same time, technology is playing an increasing role in business with the rise of tools like ChatGPT. Build your coolest/most outlandish/most cutting edge ideas that could drive innovation in workplaces all over the country - supported by some great, local Brisbane Tech Companies. This year, you'll be competing for three prizes:- The Tanda Hackathon Trophy for best validated and executed project- The Award for best technical project- The Award for the most innovative projectBring your best Blue Steel because it wouldn’t be a Tanda Hackathon without a selfie competition! All else you’ll need is your laptop and charger, as food, drinks, venue are all provided with your ticket. And as usual, all ticket proceeds will go back to IT and programming clubs at local universities. N﻿OTE: If you registered after the 3rd of May, shirts will be subject to availability on the night

<h2>H﻿ow does it work?</h2>Friday 12th May6pm - Registration &amp; Dinner. Arrive at Tanda Tower and get checked in.7pm - Welcome. We’ll brief you on what the next 24 hours holds, and introduce judges and mentors there to help out.7:30pm - Team forming. Pitch your idea, form into teams, and start building!Saturday 13th May8am - Breakfast is served. Fuel up for a big dayLunch - is on us! Get keen, get fed.6pm - Presentations and judging. Dinner. 7pm - Awards, drinks, &amp; networking (hosted at the Amazon offices in Brisbane)9pm - Go home... or somewhere with a bar tab.
