Are you a lawyer, developer, IT professional, entrepreneur, legal professional, legal service provider, or a student? <P><SPAN>Hackathons are events where people come together to collaboratively build and launch technology based solutions aimed at solving a particular problem. The Houston Global Legal Hackathon is about finding solutions for the legal industry. Teams will compete against one another, to build a solution that fits one of our two requirements; progressing the business of law or facilitating access to justice. This is a real hackathon. It is expected that teams will build working applications, proofs of concept, or prototypes, as well as presentation materials to explain, pitch, and present the application. Teams can consist entirely of participants from one organization or can include participants from many organizations.</SPAN></P>

At the end of the hackathon, teams will presents to a panel of judges and judges will choose a winner.</SPAN></P>
