UC Davis MSBA Directors Student Leadership Council (DSAC)This challenge is organized by the UC Davis MSBA DSAC. This student leadership group aims to improve the experience of students in the UC Davis MSBA Program in order to prepare exemplary business analytics leaders in the digtial era.UC Davis Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)The UC Davis MSBA develops high-performance professionals who can create business value from data and models. Drawing on deep connections with companies on the forefront of the Big Data revolution, this year-long program blends data science skills with business knowledge and organizational savvy. The UC Davis MSBA program emphasizes learning-by-doing and teamwork through a live analytics project with a corporate sponsor guided by faculty mentors. Classes meet Friday and Saturday as well as some Wednesdays in downtown San Francisco, the global hub of analytics innovation. Graduates develop the technical chops to deploy the right data science tools and the managerial savvy to lead organizational change.The UC Davis MSBA is ranked 4th worldwide for value for degree by QS and is offered by the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. UC Davis MSBA Student Leadership

You are invited to join us to kick-off the 2nd Annual UC Davis Data Hackathon. 
This event brings together students throughout Northern California to showcase their business and analytics skills by solving a real world problem for an organization within 24 hours. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in front of corporate contacts, as you work to solve issues facing business today.
Hear from our Case Partners, and learn more about this event series, from the optional workshops that will take place in February-April, to the 24-hour hackathon that takes place on April 9-10, prizes (including a Bronze Strata Conference Pass retailing at $1645) as well as prize money, and find out how you can be involved. 
Immediately following the kick-off, you are invited to join us at a networking mixer at a location nearby.
