SHack Vienna

WSA is a global activity and community to highlight and support digital solutions and creative applications impacting the UN SDGs. WSA is active in more than 180 countries world-wide and brings together social entrepreneurs, start-ups, international organisations, governments and corporate partners.WSA was initiated in 2003 in the framework of the UN World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).

Digital technologies are most powerful tools to tackle the social challenges people face every day. Become part of the internet of entrepreneurs who care and by joining forces, will create a better world.
From February 28 to March 2, 2019, EYA will come back with a new SHack (Social Hackathon) in Vienna, kindly hosted by <A HREF="https://www.brz.gv.at/en/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Austrian Federal Computing Centre</A>. Together, participants will plan, design and create prototypes of smart digital solutions for societal challenges …  in just 48 hours!
Guest-Coaches of the EYA community and from various countries will be available for the participants, giving feedback and enriching project ideas with their expertise and experience, while an international Jury of outstanding experts from different fields will be there to select the best developed prototypes at the end.
