Akshaya Patra/Asha for London/Microsoft Hackathon

Asha for Education is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to catalysing socio-economic change by supporting basic education of underprivileged children in India.  We are a completely volunteer-run organisation and globally, our volunteers work with and support over 200 projects (who in turn support over 100,000 children and youth) across India dealing with issues ranging frompre-primary schooling to professional education in locations from urban slums to isolated rural areas.  Find out more here:http://ashanet.org/london.Akshaya Patra:The Akshaya Patra Foundation (TAPF) is the world’s largest non-profit school meal provider. The winning project will be piloted in Akshaya Patra’s kitchens if it addresses either the first or second challenge; in schools partnering with Akshaya Patra if it addresses the third challenge; and in London if it addresses the fourth challenge.
Come join us on November 3rd and help us end malnutrition in India’s children so they can build a better future for themselves and the world!
