<H2 CLASS="margin-bottom-40 ng-binding">A web & technology conference for high school and college students and professionals featuring speakers, workshops and a hackathon</H2>
<H3>Activate is an event that aims to enrich our local tech community in Baton Rouge, Louisiana by establishing and furthering the careers of individuals in the web & technology field.</H3>
Our goal is to bring awareness of this field to the young community and build bridges between the future and current workforce in order to increase interest in careers in technology. We also invite current professionals to participate in furthering their skills to build a stronger workforce.
Our 3-Day Event will include a Hackathon, Workshops, and Speakers for beginners and professionals.
One ticket gets access to all 3 days and entry to the hackathon event.

A day of workshops for students and professionals. There will be four 90-minute and two 180-minute workshops in 2 rooms. Attend one or many. We encourage you to bring a laptop. <A HREF="https://www.activateconf.com/hackathon" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hackathon Day – Friday, April 5 | 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM</A>
Create teams and create change. Directives for the Hackathon will be published Thursday, March 28th to begin work. The teams will be able to work off-site but must be in attendance on Friday, April 5 to present their projects to our panel of judges. This is our main event. We invite students and professionals to come to learn and network. Choose from 2 tracks based on what your interests and skill level.
