Code for fun is a non­profit organization, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, committed to exposing all students to computer science at an early age. We offer after school programs, camps, in school instruction and teachers training, throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. As a leader in computer science education for young learners, our programs are designed for all students, bridging gender and racial gaps, and encouraging them to consider academic and career paths in the engineering field.

<H2 CLASS="sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html">Inspire, Create, Impact - For Girls in Middle and High School (11 -17 years)</H2>
Code for fun, in partnership with Aquis is inviting girls in middle school or high school to participate in a Web Design Hackathon.
Come with your friends, put on your creativity hat and brush up your coding skills to design 2 landing pages for the organizations' website.
The winning team will see their page live by the end of the hackathon and win some amazing prizes.
This is a free event, and lunch and snacks will be provided
We recommend bringing a laptop.

<LI>9:30 am to 10 am – Registration</LI>
<LI>10 am to 10:15 am - Presentation </LI>
<LI>10:30 am to 12:30 pm – Hachathon</LI>
<LI>12:30 pm to 1:30 pm – Lunch</LI>
<LI>1:30 pm to 5:30 pm – Hackathon</LI>
<LI>5:30 pm to 6:30 pm - Presentations/Awards</LI>
</UL>
Participants will be given specified fonts, themes, colors, media and links to be used in their design. They may interview representatives from these organizations to gather more content.
