Join us as we launch the Madison Women In Trades Campaign! This campaign aims to encourage women to explore careers within the building trades.

At the launch, you'll hear from a panel of tradeswomen and local employers on why it's important to hire women for trades positions. We'll also share the marketing material used to promote the trades as an excelelnt career pathway for women and to recruit women into the Madison Women In Trades pre-apprenticeship series.

About the Madison Women In Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Class

The Madison Women In Trades campaign will incorporate an all-woman building construction trades pre-apprenticeship series. Free of cost to 20 qualified applicants, the 4-week, 44-hour series is deisgned to orient and place women in construction careers.

The series will center around career opportunities available in the construction industry as well as craft an overt cooridnated effort to recruit women into the trades, acknowleding that women can find excellent careers as cement masons, heavy equipment operators, electricians, srinkler fitters and more.
