From the whole ForkedBlock team, we appreciate you registering early and showing support for our event. We have some exciting news to share which involves a new venue and a new date. In connection with Developer Camp, a 12-year tradition in Silicon Valley, ForkedBlock has become a community partner. Instead of our one-day event, we invite all of you to participate in the annual three-day Developer Camp event, February 1-3 at Hero City in San Mateo.
 
Everyone is now invited to re-register for Developer Camp. You can expect the same level of support and content from ForkedBlock team during Developer Camp, which also features meals and mentorship throughout the weekend. Staff will be on site to provide support during the event for all attendees. For distinguished competitors in the Developer Camp Hackathon Showcase, our new partnership provides generous prizes in many different categories.
 
Past winners of Developer Camp have gone on to ship and sell their companies to the likes of Apple, Google, Disney, Adobe, Facebook, and Oracle. Square got an early start there, along with the open standard Oauth. This is billed as “the world’s best hackathon” because it supports the winners year round following each event. Like us, the Developer Camp team is committed to inclusion, diversity, and empowerment in the tech community.
 
Developer Camp has generously offered free tickets to our members, and all who take advantage of this are welcome—first-come, first-served as space provides. Space and resources are limited, however, and only paid tickets will be guaranteed food and space at the event. While we wish to include everyone, we highly recommend that you pay for a ticket in support of this larger event.
