honorCode’s mission is to mobilize educators and employers to build sustainable local workforce pipelines within K12 schools.We achieve this mission by providing curriculum and training to schools to bring more computer science and social-emotional learning into the general K12 classroom.We envision a world where all students - especially those from historically underserved communities - have the power and access needed to build wealth. Come to our events throughout the year to learn more about how we are supporting teachers, building connections, and aligning education to our communities' needs.

Facing an issue in elementary STEM education? Interested in learning how to weave coding into the K12 classroom? Want to support teachers as they learn to code? Join K12 teachers from Atlanta and beyond for two computing challenges:

Elementary school teachers use Computational Thinking to identify a problem in elementary education and rapid design a solution. No coding experience necessary!
</LI>
<LI>
Middle and high school teachers square off to see who can build the best website as they learn to use CSS libraries in web design for the first time. Minimal HTML and CSS experience required to participate.
</LI>
</UL>
Teachers from all grade levels will be building their design and tech skills to bring back to the K12 classroom, with help from honorCode and the tech community. Come and participate, or just observe to see frameworks for weaving critical future workforce skills into the classroom. Industry professionals looking to support K12 computer science education are encouraged and welcomed!
