All the Data for We the PeopleTheCivic Data Alliance(CDA) is Louisville’s Civic Tech org and we are focused on advocating for inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, openness, transparency and accountability in government, civic tech and open data.Civic Data Alliance is interested in ethically liberating, improving, gathering, defining, and reporting on public data and the state of civic tech, while fostering an inclusive and diverse civic tech community.We STRONGLY believe that our government should uphold and advocate for ethical principles regarding Open Data and be accountable for their Open Data practices, including the ethical collection, implementation and sharing of The People’s data.

Civic Data Alliance

Join CDA and Data for Democracy in a hackathon for the #D4GX with a focus on the Global Data Ethics Pledge (GDEP). The Pledge is a global initiative aimed to create the most widely adopted framework and community for ethics in data science. We will be workshopping ideas on how to get people to adopt the Pledge for their projects, organizations and companies, how to best spread the word about the GDEP, encouraging other to join in the project, and actively gathering more signatures.
