We are Makers for MakersKakiDIY is a direct translation from a Malaysian slang "Kaki" means Buddy and also a Hokkien slang which sounds like "Yourself". Asia Hackathon (KL Station)  x Fiii Carnival is brought to by Hacker Panda with on-ground partner KakiDIY. This one day competition on 26th August 2018 will encompass 80 participants to solve thematic challenges on a new blockchain point of sales system. <H4>How the Hackathon works: • Participants can be an individual or as a team, to complete the tasks of cracking and system issues finding, transaction calculation problems, hardware and software issues. • The duration of The Hackathon offline event is 4 hours. Should you intend to continue after the 4 hours, FiiiPOS are available for rental for the 8 days online event with terms and conditions. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality Agreement Organizer respects all the projects created by the participants or teams during Hackathon and it shall be regarded as free resources to be utilized and allocated at participants’ own will during the event. Participants may contact the organizer if any of the participants do not want to reveal their real identities during the event and will be given lanyards with alias name tags.</H4>

All the identification of participants will be verified and the participation status will be confirmed with a notification email. <H4>Scale of Participation Participants can register individually or as a group. The group may be composed of a maximum of 5 people; </H4>
<H4>Preparation for Hackathon 1.Download and register an account at FiiiPay app and Kayako (Android and IOS) 2.Small amount of cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum etc must be deposited into the app prior to the event. If participants do not have any cryptocurrency, please send an email to enquiry@asiahackathon.com for enquiry or purchase it from the organizer on the day of event.</H4>

<H4>Important Notes on the day of Hackathon 1.All participants must bring their personal identification card, laptop computer, mobile phone and advisable to have own internet hotspot (can be tethered from the phone or a MiFi device) 2.Participants must register in the morning and be present during key timings, failure to do so will result in disqualification 3.The online submission of this online Hackathon takes precedence over the content of the first submission. If different participants submit identical program vulnerability at the same time, the first submission will only be taken for review. </H4>
<H4>Hackathon Prizes: 1.Organizer has prepared prizes total worth 1 million US dollars and 10 million FiiiCoin to be given away to Hackathon participants. 2.Those participated the 4-hour hacking event will be awarded Trophy, Certificate, 1000FiiiCoins and a meal 3.Hackathon Winning Rules & Categories</H4>
<H4>A) Da’ Hacker Boss • Total Prize of USD 10,000 (Bitcoin/Ethereum) + 100,000 FiiiCoins + 5 Points • Tasks completed: i.System Meltdown ii.Vulnerabilities (Hacking into the online servers or manipulating transactions) iii. Data Leakage B) Math Genius • Total Prize of USD 1,000 (Bitcoin/Ethereum) + 1,000 FiiiCoins + 3 Points</H4>
<H4>• Tasks completed: i.Conversion Error Manipulation ii.Currency Error Manipulation iii.Trading Error Manipulation C) UI Cracker • Total of USD 100 (Bitcoin/Ethereum) + 100 FiiiCoins + 1 Point</H4>
<H4>• Tasks completed: i.UI Text Change ii. Non-relevant Image Change iii.Mobile Responsivity Manipulation</H4>
<H4> 4.Participants or teams who successfully discover issues abovementioned will get points set by the winning rules accordingly. Bonus points will double if solutions can be offered and approved by judges. The judges’ decision is final. 5.The prizes and FiiiCoin will be sent to the winning individuals or teams’ designated bank accounts and FiiiPay accounts within 2 weeks. 6.The event is divided into three phases: Shenzhen Station, Global Online Competition Station, and Kuala Lumpur Station. At the end of each challenge, there will only be three participants (or teams) with the highest scores, to receive the Final Pass to Asia Hackathon- Chengdu Award Ceremony that is sponsored by the organizer (Airfare, accommodation and meals are included). </H4>
