Kay Irby Cooper is a former IBM Developer and professional with 25+ years of experience. As a former Chair of STEM and K12 Community Outreach for SWE (Society of Women Engineers) Memphis, member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and  founder of I.T. Go Girl mentoring , Kay continues to be an advocate for STEAM education targeting underserved communities.She received her M.S. degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from The University of Tennessee Space Institute and B.S. from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the engineering and computer science program.
