BASE Hackathon Silicon Valley 2018

In the current $550B ads market, too much money goes to the hidden ad network with too little added value for businesses and customers. BitClave is using blockchain to eliminate ad service “middlemen” and create a direct connection between businesses and customers. On the BitClave Active Search Ecosystem​, customers control their identity, decide who has access to their data, and are “paid” each time businesses “use” their data to make them offers. With BitClave, businesses have a direct relationship with customers and can offer a uniquely targeted promotion. BitClave is pleased to announce the first ever BitClave Active Search Ecosystem (BASE) developer hackathon organized by BitClave and Carnegie Mellon University, Silicon Valley.
 
Over 24 hours of hacking, free food, and fun—you will team up with other blockchain and full stack developers to create an idea (website, application, or other) that utilizes the BASE API and platform (https://github.com/bitclave/base-client-js/tree/develop/dist/docs).
<H2>What is BASE?</H2>

Day 1  12:00 PM: Doors Open &amp; Lunch 1:00 PM: Opening Ceremony, Sponsor Welcomes, &amp; Team Building 2:00 PM : Coding Kick Off 7:00 PM : Dinner *Venue open overnight!
Day 2 8:00 AM:  Breakfast 12:00 PM : Lunch 1:00 PM: Code Freeze &amp; Submission Deadline on hackathon.io  1:30 PM: A/V Check 2:00 PM: Demos  4:00 PM: Winners are Announced / Prizes!
