<p>We are excited to invite you to the 2022 JETRO Silicon Valley Pitch Night! It's an in-person, interactive, and fun pitch event for Japanese entrepreneurs to showcase their business solutions and get valuable feedback, gain visibility, and build strategic connections.</p><p>Each of the 9 participating startups will have 4 minutes to pitch their ideas to the audience and a panel of Silicon Valley-based investors and ecosystem match-makers.</p><p>As an attendee, you will be able to watch pitches IRL (in real life) at the corporate HQ of SRI International at the Bay Area. This onsite event is organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and 10X Innovation Lab in cooperation with SRI.</p><p>This is also a great chance to get together in-person, catch up with the community, and hear great ideas from Japan’s startup ecosystem. Ac-Planta tackles climate change disasters, in particular food and water crises. Our radical solution, based on “Epigenetic approach”, unlocks and enhances plants’ resilience against drought and heat, without genetic modifications. Ac-Planta therefore drastically improves agricultural productivity about 20% of yields, with massive water savings on a global scale. We now aim to introduce our product to the US agricultural and forestry sectors, such as big vegetables/grains growers, wholesale nurseries etc.

<p><strong>7﻿. Plusman</strong></p>
Plusman is a specialist team of actuaries and other professionals. We are focusing on medical imaging AI, such as pulmonary nodule AI, which has the best performance among existing research and detects the nodule 10 months earlier than certified radiologists, and CXR AI, as well as AI drug discovery, automated surgical robots, and dolphin language translators. We are able to manipulate and control mathematical models of 100 million dimensions at will, and provide the most suitable model according to the issues and needs.

Our next generation VitaNet BLE Auth user authentication service authenticates both your mobile membership app user inside a brick-and-mortar store is logged in to her mobile app account and she is actually in the store, in less than a second.  It only requires a small authenticator attached to a wall in the store, replacing POS/CAT terminals and code readers as well as labor to operate them.  Your mobile app will be enabled for ticketless entry, self-checkout, in-store order and net payment, melding E-commerce purchase UX with in-store purchase experience.
