WAZIHUB is an innovation project for Africa which aims to accelerate open IoT and Big Data innovation in Africa by leveraging African local talent inform of entrepreneurs and startups developing cutting edge and African grade solutions solving African society problems.
WAZIHUB will support entrepreneurs and startups with access to best technology for rapid prototyping and test of ideas, creation of new IoT business and startup spinoffs and mentoring by providing accessibility to business models and partnership for sustainability and growth-hacking.
The main objective of this information session is to communicate the tools potential participants will use if they are selected for the program, get knowledge about the technologies they will be using in the subsequent stages or better still expound on what idea they already have developed.The participants will also be informed about all the infrastructure and services available for them in this accelerator program.
This information session will be followed up with a hackathon where the interested members will be able to form teams and come up with ideas which they will try to implement using the WAZIHUB platform. The hackathon will be one week after the information session.
