The Academy - RoboFest is a 2 hour STEM Education festival where Hackathon meets MythBusters Meets BattleBots.

Have you ever wondered how BattleBots the Tesla Model 3 are designed, constructed, tested and built? Have you ever wondered how 3D printers work? Have you ever wondered how iPhone enclosures are machined out of blocks of aluminum?The Academy - RoboFest is a 2 hour STEM Education festival where Hackathon meets MythBusters Meets BattleBots hosted by The Milwaukee Robotics Mentor Team.If you are a MKE high school / middle school student interested in STEM &amp; Robotics or just love building things with your hands, join us on:December 8th, 2022 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm At The Milwaukee Robotics Academy 3063 N Fratney St, Milwaukee, WI 53212.<ul></ul>During the festival you will form small teams with students like yourself and solve problems to explore for a chance to win selection of prizes! No previous experience required to attend. During the event you will explore:<ul><li>3D Printing, </li><li>Computer Programing, </li><li>Arduino Controller, </li><li>Mechanism Design, </li><li>And Fusion 360 / Computer Aided Design</li></ul>D﻿etailed Hackathon Challenge &amp; Prize will be Released before 12/1! W﻿e offer FREE Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math after school learning &amp; mentorship for all Milwaukee students 8-12th Grade. Our students learn and use the 30+ pieces prototyping &amp; fabrication machinery and equipment to design, build, and test 1 competition robot every year on a national stage in Wisconsin, Chicago, and Houston.<ul><li>Machine Shop (CNC Mill &amp; CNC Table Router)</li><li>Additive Manufacturing (SLA &amp; FDM 3D Printing)</li><li>Computer Aided Design Software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks)</li><li>Electronics Prototyping (Arduino &amp; Raspberry Pi)</li><li>Wood Shop (Tablesaw, Drill Press, Circular Saw, Scroll Saw, Dremel, Various Hand tools)</li><li>Languages in Code in (JavaScript, Python, C++)</li></ul>https://www.milwaukeeroboticsacademy.org/
