The mission of the NCBW is to advocate on behalf of Black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.Founded in 1988, The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter, is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to civic engagement and community service, leadership development, and advocacy through the delivery of programs women and children of color. The Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter is one of largest chapters of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. in the southeast.Standing strong with educated women, who understand the power of collaboration and the need for a commitment to service in order to make a real a difference in the Atlanta community. Atlanta's Premiere Cookoff Event - The 29th Annual Gourmet Gents is BACK!We are bringing the "The Kings of the Kitchen" to the Georgia International Convention Center to celebrate 29 years of Rich Legacy and a culinary extravaganza that showcases some of Atlanta’s best male amateur and professional chefs. Proceeds from Gourmet Gents benefit the chapter’s Teens On The Move program. Teens On The Move has been operating for over 20 years, positively impacting the lives of more than 450 young women in our community. The program’s success is demonstrated by the hundreds of students who have successfully matriculated to college, including five celebrated Gates Millennium Scholars, 3 valedictorian, and several girls receiving full ride scholarships to college.Join us on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM to enjoy Delicious Food Samplings, Celebrity Appearances, and the Vendor Marketplace<ul><li>Attire: Chic</li><li>Parking - $10 .
