The Industry Project is an opportunity for PhD students to work in a multi-disciplinary team and engage directly with industry partners.

<p>T﻿he annual University of Sydney Hackathon - Industry Project has returned, hosted by the School of Physics. This is a two-day event giving PhD students the opportunity to collaborate with other PhD students from different disciplines to solve real-world problems, with the engagement of industry partners and academics as mentors, students will be placed in groups and assigned a specific problem from an industry partner that they&#x27;ll have an opportunity to solve. Students will then present their solutions as a group to the industry partners and be marked/receive direct feedback from these partners, and be given an opportunity to network over lunch after the event. </p>
